It's a pleasure that Prof. Dr. Hampana Nagarajaiah of Jainism from U.K. is visiting Japan to give lectures in Tokyo & Kyoto Universities.

Prof. Hampana is well connected with Jainism Academic activits in Japan Myakonojo Unviversity, Miyazaki. Prof. Hampana & Prof. Fujinaga of Myakonojo Kosen University are involved in Jaina Studies & research in Japan.

Prof. Hampana was born in 1936 and has authored more than 100 books in Kannada , English , etc. He has taught Jainism for under Graduate, Post Graduate, & Guided PhD Students over 38 years. He is recipient of a number f State – national – International Awards, including the "JEWEL OF JAINA WORLD" (USA).

Foreign Scholars & writers have presented him 2 Felicitation volumes – SVASTI and SANMATI, for his 75th & 80th Birthday. Prof. Hampana has presented papers at the National & International Congress and Symposia and delivered Endowment and Foundation Lectures in various Universities across the World. His contribution to the study of Jainology in particular is significant and seminal.

There are some additions/changes in the previous email of Paryushana programs.

1.  Everyday morning Pratikraman will be at 6:30 am followed by Pravchan at 8:30. 

2.   Kids/Ladies Shibir will be  on Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 4 pm at Navneet Bhai Residence

       From Monday 20th Aug. only Ladies Shibir.

3.  On Sunday 20th from 10 am, Sidhhchakra Pujan will be on the 3rd floor of Derasar/Mandir bldg.

4.   All day there is Pravachan at the Derasar/Mandir bldg at 8 pm after Pratikraman.

5.   The Samvatsari Pratikraman for men will at Taitoku Higashiueno 6-16-8, 4F.
